Apple yesterday launched its over-the-head headphones dubbed AirPods Max. They cost $549 and are available in five color variants. Unfortunately, though, you cannot order them from Apple anymore if you want them to be delivered before Christmas.
However, BestBuy is still offering the AirPods Max headphones—particularly the Space Gray and the Silver variants—with an estimated delivery date of December 15. So if you’re interested in purchasing these colors, I suggest you do not waste much time as the colored variants are already out of stock and there’s no guarantee that the rest will last.
The new AirPods Max headphones feature a better sound quality than the AirPods Pro while offering much of the same features such as Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, Spatial Audio, and much more.
Moreover, these headphones also support interchangeable ear cushions enabling you to mix and match different colors to give your pair a unique look—just like the Apple Watch.
Apple says you can get up to 20 hours of high-fidelity audio, talk time, or movie playback with Active Noise Cancellation and Spatial Audio enabled.
Apart from that, the AirPods Max headphones also ship with a smart casing that sports sensors that interact with the headphones and put them on standby when you put them within the casing.
In order to pair your Apple devices with these headphones, Apple says you need to update them to the latest versions respectively.
