WhatsApp Tricks To Become Tech Savvy.

Get ready to unlock a whole new world of WhatsApp via these useful tricks.

The first thing that you do when you wake up in the morning is checking Whatsapp for new messages, right? This goes to show how Whatsapp has become an integral part of our lives. Apparently, an extended part of our body. Also now and then, the app comes up with new updates and tricks. The latest one being the ability to delete messages that you’ve sent, just in case you don’t want the receiver to read it. So, we’ve prepared a list of a handful of the best WhatsApp tricks that will help you master the social site completely.

Please Note: These tricks neither require your device to be rooted nor do you need any external third party app or some other hacked version of Whatsapp to perform them. These are just some tricks that you can do with an ordinary mobile phone running the App.

#1: LEARN TO USE WHATSAPP USING SIRI OR GOOGLE ASSISTANT

Not in the mood or too lazy to type your messages? Well, there’s a way you can send the message without even touching the mobile phone. Say, ‘Hey Siri’ if you have an Apple Device, or ‘OK Google’ if you have an Android phone and then say ‘Send Whatsapp message to…’ followed by the name of the Contact you wish to send the message to. Then, as soon as the application pops up, start dictating the message loud enough and clear in order to avoid any voice to text errors. Voila! Goodbye Typing!!

#2: MASTER HIDING YOUR MESSAGES FROM POPPING UP ON THE SCREEN

If prying eyes in the office or college annoy you whenever there’s a new Whatsapp Notification, then this is useful for you. To hide previews/notifications from showing up on your phone screen, open up the application, Go to settings>>Notifactions and select ‘No pop-ups’ for pop-up notifications for both group and individual chats.

#3: LISTEN TO VOICE MESSAGES DISCREETLY.

Sending recorded audios was one of the best features provided to us by Whatsapp. Chatting was no longer restricted to just words(there was a new feeling;). But, there was a huge problem with it. You couldn’t listen to the message discreetly without using your headphones. Even I faced the same problem. That’s when I thought of finding out a way to listen to the message without letting some other anxious pairs of ears listen to it. Following is the end to this misery. While listening to the voice message, place the phone near your ear, just like when you are picking up a call(and also, other’s won’t find it fishy). By doing this, the proximity sensor gets activated, which means that the message plays through your phone’s earpiece and not the speakers. Now you have the privacy that you wanted;).

#4: ENJOY READING A MESSAGE WITHOUT THE BLUETICK

The blue tick mark in the chat indicates that the person has read the message. Both the parties get to know about the status of the message. Whether it is sent, delivered or read. Although you have an option to “Turn OFF” the read receipts, then you won’t be able to see read receipts from other people. (Note that Read receipts are always sent to Group Chats. There’s no hiding over there). To avoid this complicated blue tick process try this trick. Once you get a message, turn off your Wi-Fi and mobile data and go offline. Then read the message. Then before going online, delete the chat if you don’t want the sender to know that you read the message.

#5 HIDING WHATSAPP FOLDERS FROM YOUR PHONE’S GALLERY

Sometimes we don’t want anyone looking at the messages or files at the images or files that we share via WhatsApp. This Android trick allows you to hide your WhatsApp folders from the gallery. Open your File Manager and go the WhatsApp folder. In the folder, you will find two folders- WhatsApp Video and WhatsApp Images. Add a dot before the folder name of the folder name of both of the folders, and you are good.

Here are the tricks for today. Hope you found it helpful.
