10 Unique Apps you should know

The Google Play app store is a little bit like a galaxy of software.
From a distance, the sheer number of apps is staggering, and it’s hard to take them all in at once. But zoom in on any one of those apps, and the distance between them, in terms of features and quality, is vast.
We all use many applications on our Android phones, but some applications are really remarkable, distinctive and idiosyncratic.

Below is the list of some uncommon applications, I have tried to cover in this article

1) HAPPYCOW
If you don’t eat meat, or you want to avoid gluten, it can be tricky to find suitable restaurants, especially if you’re somewhere unfamiliar. Enter HappyCow, which lists vegan and vegetarian restaurants, cafes, and stores. You can choose different filters to suit your diet and find something close to your location with directions and everything else you need to get fed

2) SPLITWISE
Forget about awkwardness and money disputes with this clever app. Splitwise makes it easy to track exactly how much you owe, how much is owed to you and to make sure that everyone is paid back. Whether you’re splitting bills with roommates or paying your share of a group gift, this app will
help with swift calculations, reminders, and real-time updates.

3) GOODREADS
Are you a bibliophile? , then this is a must-have app. Use it to discover new titles you might enjoy, discuss meanings, post or read reviews, and compile a reading list.      There’s even scanner functionality, so you can scan the barcode on a book you own and add it to your virtual bookcase.

4) FLIPBOARD
If you love curated news and updates, Flipboard is the perfect app. The app allows you to follow publications and topics you’re passionate about. Throughout the day, Flipboard updates with the best stories, allowing you to flip to find whatever you’d like to read. Its redesign makes it look slicker than ever.

5) MY ASICS RUN COACHING
Most running apps charge you a pretty penny to access training regimens. That’s not the case with My Asics Run Coaching. This app, for both iPhone and Android, has customized plans for 5K, 10K, 5-mile, 10-mile, half-marathon, or marathon runs. It’s also not on a fixed schedule. Instead, the app adjusts your plan based on your running data. This app will get you off the couch and on the road to victory.

6) BANDCAMP
Filled with both up-and-coming and established acts, Bandcamp is one of the most exciting music marketplaces there is. The app was initially built around streaming songs you’d already purchased on Bandcamp, but now it’s a one-stop shop for digital and physical band merch. If you want to keep your finger on the pulse of music, this is an essential app.

7) HEADSPACE
Headspace is a meditation app created by an ex-Buddhist monk and TED Talk alum Andy Puddicombe. Users can chose between lesson packs centered around various goals such as: focus, health, creativity, and advanced meditation techniques. The app requires a subscription, but offers a free 10-day guided lesson pack to get you started.

8) TODOIST
You like to keep your life organized with various to-do lists, then you definitely need to download Todoist. This app lets you keep track of the tasks you need to get done; you can assign them different priorities based on their over overall importance or organize them across different projects. It also has a functional, clean design and works across many different platforms. Anyone can get started for free, but seriously organized individuals should upgrade to the premium plan to set up task labels and reminders, upload files, and view productivity charts.

9) DASHLANE
You’re terrible at passwords. Don’t take it personally! Everyone is terrible at passwords.
That’s why we all need apps like Dashlane, which generate, save, and replay login credentials wherever they’re needed. This smart, cross-platform service makes sure that your passwords, payment information,
and other vital information is stored securely but never out of reach.

10) ADOBE PHOTOSHOP LIGHTROOM CC
Lightroom, a program built upon Photoshop, is a powerful photo editing tool for photographers. The mobile app takes the features of the desktop application and puts them on your Android device.

The quirkiness and notable features of these applications make them peculiar.

That’s it for now.

Stay Tuned. Cheers !!!
