Pixelmator Pro offers a multitude of both beginner and advanced features that let you perform tasks ranging from enhancing your current images to creating new ones to creating digital paintings. It uses ML Enhance to intelligently enhance photos with a machine learning algorithm trained on millions of professional photos. With Machine Learning, the app can easily remove noise from photos, make accurate selections, and magically remove elements from a photo.
The app was recently updated to enable native Apple Silicon support alongside a major redesign and performance improvements.
For one, Pixelmator says that with the latest 2.0 update, its Super Resolution Machine Learning feature that increases the resolution of an image without distortion now runs 15% faster, thanks to the M1 chip embedded inside the new Macs.
