The upcoming flagship iPhone range by Apple is set to launch later this year. Rumors suggest the iPhone 12 will have an updated design, probable 5G connectivity, better processor, and an improved camera; likely making it an interesting upgrade for users after a long time.

However, it is likely the new iPhone may cost you a little bit more than usual. Leaker Jon Prosser has shared a price list of the iPhone 12 lineup. According to the leak, the new 5.4″ iPhone 12 may cost $649; the 6.1″ iPhone 12 may cost $749; the 6.1″ iPhone 12 Pro may cost $999, and the 6.7″ iPhone 12 Pro may cost $1,099.

An interesting thing to note here is that the 6.1″ iPhone will be costlier than its existing counterpart—the 6.1″ iPhone 11 as noted by Jon himself. The iPhone 11 (not the pro) currently starts at $699 while as per the leak, the new 6.1″ iPhone 12 could start at an increased price of $749.

The increased price may probably be to cover the costs of the shift from LED to OLED on the iPhone 11 that are to be embedded inside the new iPhones.

The iPhone 12, further is facing production hurdles due to the current coronavirus that has affected supply chains everywhere. Hence, it could be delayed by a month.

Further, remember that this is a rumor. And rumors must always be taken with a grain of salt.
