‘Documents’ by Readdle launches for Apple Silicon Macs


Readdle, the developer behind a bunch of popular iPhone and Mac apps including Spark Email and PDF Expert, has released its app named Documents to Apple Silicon Macs.

Documents is already a renowned iPad and iPhone app that lets users manage their files and play audio and video files right within the app. It’s a multipurpose app that has surprised users with the amount of stuff that it lets you do including using its built-in VPN.

Today, Readdle launched the app specifically for M1 Macs.

Today we are delighted to bring everything you loved in Documents on iPhones & iPads to Macs running Apple Silicon.

It lets you do what you want with your files without jumping between dozens of apps: manage all your files and cloud services; browse the web; connect a built-in VPN to stay private; listen to music; watch videos; read books; edit PDFs; open 40+ file-formats including .flac, .mkv, .avi, .rar.

Readdle also says that if you’ve purchased Documents Plus on iOS, you’ll be able to extend the purchase to your Mac as well without paying extra.

You can download Documents by Readdle from the Mac App Store. The Documents Plus in-app fee costs $89.99.
